December Newsletter

The image has the word "December" with Christmas decorations in the background.

Director's Corner,

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Wow, that went fast.  It’s hard to believe that December is upon us once again. I love the hustle and bustle and all that goes along with Christmas.  I can't wait to have a piece of Red Velvet Cake.  Take a look outside of your window.  Potterville and the surrounding area always looks fantastic.  Go for a car ride and take a look at the lights.

Your library has many activities for you in December.  The first one is a “Coloring Contest” for all ages.  Please stop in today and get your coloring sheet.  Once you have completed your sheet, return it to the library and we will display it.  Judging will take place on December 18th and 19th.  Prizes will be awarded.  We are, also, having a “Craft Day” on Friday, December 12th.  Stop in and decorate a stocking for you to take home to a loved one or to hang in the library.    Let’s see how creative you can be.  Let’s fill the library with decorated stockings!

There is a new assortment of books that have come in for your enjoyment.  We have Christmas books, new fiction books, new non-fiction books and new biographies for you to select from.  Stop in and take a look.

Kaylee and Sam are looking for your favorite family dog pictures.  2025 was all about cats and 2026 is all about dogs.  Please share your pictures of your special dog with us and we will spotlight your family friend in our enewsletter.

Whatever your plans are for December, please take care of each other and enjoy your time with family and friends.  Tis The Season!

Have a Very Merry Christmas.

So next year we will be having a Dog of the Month.  Please send your pictures and the name of your dog to our Facebook page.  We can not wait to see all of your puppies!
